One place that you never hear about when you are looking around for a holiday to Tenerife is Pleasure Island. This is great fun for the entire family. They have hockey tables, pool tables, arcade games, slot car boogie, Astro Canyon Coaster, Volcano Ride, rodeo bull, bungee trampoline and a bungee rocket. They also have miniature golf for those who think they are good at regular golf. The place is great for the entire family, even if you stay into the night for the Decades shows. If that is enough excitement for one day, you might enjoy a day of visiting the local towns.
Santa Cruz is a busy town to see because it is the capital of Tenerife. There are some incredible shops and restaurants to visit as well as attractions. You can walk around the streets and see the beautiful architecture that is so popular with this culture. Then there is La Orotava, which is a town with shady meeting squares and fantastic architecture. The Botanical Gardens will delight even the youngest member of the family. There are over three thousand varieties of plants and flowers. This place is nice to have a walk around and then picnic at one of the tables in the gardens.
Garachico and Icon de los Vinos are great towns to see. The oldest town is Icod de los Vinos with a tree that is over one thousand years old. The Dragon Tree is world famous for how big and old it is and beautiful as ever. You can plan an island tour if you want to use a guide to take you to all the historical places. If you take the Inter Island tour, you can visit an island that is untouched by tourism. Then you can explore the wildlife parks.
The wildlife parks are Loro Parque, Parque las Aguilas, Animal Park, Camel Park and Monkey Zoo Park. The Monkey Zoo Park is something everyone enjoys. There antics are funny to watch. Then the Camel Park is another place where you can have some excitement. You can take a camel ride that lasts for about an hour or so. This ride of course is not for anyone that suffers from motion sickness or seasickness. You will enjoy the ride, even with the back and forth movement if you try it. Then there are the things to do that off the beaten track.
You will enjoy your holidays to Tenerife when you try the Enduro Ride, which is a motorcycle ride around the area. Then they have the Yamahas for Motocross for some more excitement. You might even enjoy go karting or the Quad Safari. The Quad Safari requires that you have a driver s license. You will be of roading and having the time of your life. Whatever it is that you plan to do is going to be exciting when you visit Tenerife. The area is so beautiful and there so many things to do. You will leave with a yearning to return as soon as you can.
